Do not think that you are alone, that when you have to hide who you are that no one stood beside you. You may experience loneliness, you may bubble with sadness, you may just simply yearn and yearn, but do not think you do so alone. For when you hide your sexuality and/or gender, Jesus is standing beside you. You may feel physically alone, but you are never spiritually or emotionally alone. When you cry at night, Christ shall wipe your tears, when you scream up at God that life isn’t fair, Jesus calmly says, “I understand.”, when you fall into depression, Christ has a hand outstretched, ready to pull you out, when you are ready to step out of the closet, Jesus will step out with you.
It does get better.
